Strawberry Shortcake

I made the boys strawberry shortcake for the first time a few weeks ago. They loved it and were such happy boys. Good thing they will take jello, applesauce, etc. for dessert usually. They haven't made this a habit just yet!

Playing Dress Up

The boys have become more and more interested in our clothes, my purses, shoes, etc. They love to get my purses out of the closet and walk around the house with them. Miles is hilarious! He will say, "bye bye" and you ask him where he is going. He replies, "Going to HEB". Then he will give you a grocery list of things he is going to buy. Always the same items...bananas, strawberries, yogurt, cheese, etc. The other week they decided to try on Patrick's work shirt and my hat. Oliver looks pretty darn cute in the top picture. Miles is the next one down. Then Oliver had an idea. Why not put on Daddy's boxer shorts and then accessorize with Mommy's underwear around his neck. I just had to share....too funny not to. What will they think of next!?

Galveston Fun

It is so hard to believe that it is already the end of September! Where did the summer go? We enjoyed quite a few day trips down to Galveston this summer. The boys love playing in the sand and have warmed up to the ocean a lot! They love the waves and going out deep with Daddy. We made some good memories this summer and I look forward to more visits to good old Galveston.

2 Year Doctor Visit

It is hard to believe that the boys are already 2! Actually 25 months to be exact. We took them last week to the doc for their check up. Poor babies had to have their thumbs pricked for bloodwork. They checked their white blood cell count, iron levels, lead levels, etc. The boys did great and they got band-aids on their thumbs. They thought that was the coolest! The did manage to take them off once we got back into the exam room. Ha! They also got a few vaccines. Poor babies were poked and prodded. :( I made P hold them while they got the shots and I held them after! Mama couldn't look.
Here are their stats:

Miles - 27lbs. - 50%
35" - 75%

Oliver - 28lbs. - 50%
35 1/4" - 80%

They are getting so BIG! Stop growing boys! Or at least slow down......
