Big O & Daddy!

I took this picture of Patrick and Oliver while we were at the hospital in Beaumont (waiting for Charis to arrive) last week. I LOVE IT! Patrick is so handsome. I am so lucky to be married to such a cute guy!

Get comfortable Miles!

The boys are so cute together! I love watching them play. The other day Miles thought it would be fun to basically lay on top of Oliver. They could not stop laughing. Of course I ran to grab the camera. So cute!

House Make-Over!

Patrick and I have been in our home for a little over 7 years now! Hard to believe! The past two weeks we had some work done to the house. Some of the projects were out of necessity and some were just for fun! We had the trim around the outside of the windows replaced with hardi-plank, backsplash added in the kitchen, touch ups in the living area where the walls had shifted a bit, and a LOT of work done to our master bath shower! We knew we had some kind of leak but didn't realize how bad it was until the workers started demolition. We thought we were just going to have to tear out the floor and bottom row of tile....ended up replacing everything...down to the studs. Ouch! BUT, we were able to add a bench in the shower. I love it! We are so happy with the way everything turned out. Now on to the next project. Re-doing the backyard! Pictures will be coming soon. I will be doing the majority of that project. I love yard work!

Snuggle Bunnies

Both of the boys had fevers last week. Poor babies. Then on Friday afternoon Oliver woke from his nap with a rash all over his face, torso and legs. Of course it was 3:00 on Good Friday and our pediatrician's office was closed. I called the emergency nurse line and spoke with someone. She thought it sounded like Roseola and told us to watch him over the weekend and call if anything changed. The fever was gone but the rash had appeared. Apparently that is how Roseola works. Poor babies. They were so sweet lying on the couch with their blankies on Friday afternoon. I have to admit I kind of liked it! We are all better now! Thank goodness.

Oh, and of course the rash appeared on Miles on Sunday morning. :)

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter weekend! Mr. and Mrs. B. came in town on Friday night. We went to Berryhill and had an early dinner with a bunch of our neighbors! Then Sat. Mrs. B. and I went to Beaumont for a baby shower for Brittney! Baby #3 will be here by the 13th, if not sooner, and we can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl! Patrick and Mr. B. took the boys to "coffee and cars" in Uptown Park and then hung out at the park afterwards. My mom joined us in the fun on Sat. afternoon and we had a nice family meal that evening! We actually all sat at the table together and ate! It was so nice. We went to church the next morning, brunch at Tila's (yum!) and then a quick easter egg hunt in the backyard! What a wonderful weekend!
